WE NEED YOU! maybe.
Friday, May 27th, 2005Ok. So we’ve got a swish new website. Hopefully some people are even reading these posts. You might spot the only problem with the site so far; we don’t actually have much content….
So we need two things, (1) some dedicated, hard working, enthusiastic people who can regularly post stuff and help out with the website and (2) some stuff to post. These needn’t be news/opportunities posts; I’m sure some of you teachers have some good teaching resources in .doc files or something that we can stick in the staff section. Even things like sample expedition reports, perfect routecards etc. would be handy to have. If anybody is feeling especially studious, you can write an essay! Errr. Ok, maybe not an essay. Maybe those people on bela have a “perfect rucksack” checklist or other such ingenious documents that we can’t live without. Seriously though, a factsheet on how to use tent pegs might even benefit some people on gold…
Things to come include links/docs on the new access laws, an online routecard generator (Yes! How cool is that? No, wait. Don’t laugh. It’ll add up your times and everything. You’ll love it. More handy than a spork, for sure.) There will obviously be lots more COOLSTUFF(tm) on the way too.
New DoE website ! (again)
Wednesday, May 25th, 2005Well it’s another slightly different design and hopefully we have somewhere stable for it to run until we can find some new hosting. Any ideas/news on a postcard please. Also looking for responsible staff to help post things and admin. the site, especially once the gallery is up and running.
Feedback welcome.
