Resources

Hopefully this section will gradually fill up with handy links, articles and downloads for both participants and leaders/assessors. If you feel like contributing something, get in touch. N.B: The staff section is currently passworded.

Anything listed in this section is designed to be an aid; it should not be taken as gospel. If people from other areas of the country wish to use anything here, that’s great, but please don’t modify anything and always provide a link back to us. Thanks.

Being ill-prepared in the outdoors can lead to potentially dangerous situations. Always remember that literature and online tips should never be considered as an outright substitute for instruction by a trained proffesional.

New Addition!!!

This is an automatic RSS feed of the mountain weather for the Brecon Beacons, straight from the Met Office web site. If you have a newer Sony Ericcson phone, you can use this to get no-nonsense mountain weather for the Beacons when you’re out and about!

I’d like some feedback on this; I know there aren’t many Pembs. expeditions run in the Beacons but is this sort of thing useful? If it is, this could easilt be expanded to the cover the other mountain regions offered by the Met Office Website here.
