1. Enter group details in the provided spaces. Try and keep to the prescribed format for dates etc. to avoid errors. The key thing with the group section is to remain fairly concise; enter only the information that is really needed. Click the box and click the button to submit changes and move onto the leg editing.
2. Enter the leg information using a similar technique to the group section. Again, stick to the prescribed format for dates and times etc. Click the SUBMIT button to move onto the next leg.
Although you are forced to fill this in sequentially, you can always skip back to edit previous legs using the navigation tabs at the top.
3. Filled in all the legs you need? (You don't HAVE TO have eight legs; a very simple bronze route might span a huge distance of very easy terrain that you want to cover in one go. The choice is yours to agree with your leader/assessor...)
You now have two choices. "Render .PDF.." will give you an Adobe Acrobat file to view and print your routecard in the traditional format.
Alternatively, if you've typed in your route on a public computer and wish to save it for printing/editing later on, use the XML save/load function to copy your routecard to an XML file which you can email/save to disk for later.
